Yes, it is really worth it.

why would you run the risk of being paid cervical cancer ?

In Feb I had my annual pap smear and learned i had severe changes. I had CIN 2 and CIN3 and needed to go to the OR the next week. These precancerous cells were caused by HPV which was incredible for me to find out since I have only been with 4 men in my life ( and always very careful ) and with my husband for 6 yrs.
The dr says it can lay dormant for 10 yrs !

Hope this doesn’t scare too many people.
SHOCKING FACT # 1: – The cervical cancer vaccines WILL NOT cure or treat cervical cancer.
SHOCKING FACT # 2: – Severe adverse reactions HAVE OCCURRED including ER visits, stable hurt and death.
SHOCKING FACT # 3: – You can STILL GET cervical cancer AFTER having the vaccine.
SHOCKING FACT # 4: – The cervical cancer vaccines WILL NOT prevent cervical cancer.
I’ve by no means had the shot and don’t intend too either. Lisa x

    Yes it is worth it.

The inoculation is a preventative measure. The vast margin of cases of cervical cancer are caused by HPV infection but not all of them.

HOWEVER recieving this inoculation greatly reduces the opportunity of contracting HPV. No, having this doesn’t mean you’re not vacant to get cervical cancer; that is still a opportunity, but it will be a greatly reduced opportunity.

Like you said, this inoculation cannot help prevent against Ovarian cancer. But it does protect against one form of cancer that is a common killer in women if not detected early. And that should be reason sufficient.

Well you have a opportunity of preventing certain types of cervical cancer so why not? I saw a name mention that you can still get cervical cancer while you already have the shot and yes that is right because the HPV vaccine only prevents certain strains. I’ve gotten the shot, and had no problems with it at all, the initially person who answered seriously did not know what she was talking about at all. I would say to get vaccinated, it’s something that can prevent from some cancer.
